  5. No one infers a god from the simple, from the known, from what is understood, but from the complex, from the unknown, and incomprehensible. Our ignorance is God; what we know is science.

As children, I think we all looked up at the sky and imagined animals in the clouds.  Artyom Chebokha has translated that concept into a gorgeously ominous painting entitled “Tenkhariis.”

My newest acquisition: a Muv Man leaning stool.
I’ve been using a standing desk for over two years, but I have still been spending some amount of time — maybe half of the day — sitting. Most recently my chair has been a Buoy from Steelcase. It involves active sitting, since it is rounded at the bottom. But it’s still sitting.

In the past few days with the Muv Man, I am either standing, or leaning like the woman in the picture. The neck telescopes, and the stool is canted forward about 4º. It supports about 1/3 of my weight, and I find myself in a new dynamic: I stand up to write, and I lean back into it when reading for a long period.
I now have no desk ‘chair’.
Anyone want to buy a slightly-used Buoy?
